About Madreselva Flores Workshop
Founded in 1990 with a family-oriented character, our workshop specializes in the preservation of all types of flowers, from bridal bouquets and confraternity flowers to anniversary keepsakes and special event arrangements.
Our Artisanal Process
When the flowers arrive at the workshop, we begin by photographing them so you can preserve the original design if you wish. Then, we meticulously dissect them, separating even petal by petal in the case of large flowers.
Next, the flowers are carefully pressed, changing the papers weekly. This pressing and drying process can take between two and three months, depending on the temperature and time of year. Once dry, we classify and treat them to ensure their durability.
Subsequently, we schedule an appointment with you to create the sketch. In this meeting, we define details such as the measurements, background color, shape, and size of the composition.
The final assembly is done manually, using tweezers and glue to fix the flowers onto a thick-weight mat. Once completed, the composition is presented wrapped in a cellophane sleeve or framed, according to your preference. Each piece is unique and made with the utmost care to preserve your most special memories.
